EDspaces Powered by EDmarketJoin the Conversation About the Future of Educational Facilities

Registration is open for EDspaces, taking place November 3-5, 2021 in Pittsburgh, PA. It’s time to take a few minutes to explore the industry’s most comprehensive conference dedicated to understanding how the intersection of space, pedagogy, and technology impacts student performance. EDmarket powers the content for EDspaces as an important part of our partnership with Emerald Expositions. In February we sent out a call for the best minds in the industry to submit ideas for sessions. The call for presentations generated more than 150 submissions that our Education Committee helped narrow to develop this unparalleled selection of thought leadership.

There is something for everyone. The preconference starts on Tuesday, November 2 with the Education Distribution Symposium where dealers can begin their week getting recharged, networking with peers, and listening to customers. Meanwhile our school and A&D attendees kick off EDspaces with an inspirational tour and two deep-dive preconference events focused on reimagining schools.

You can see why EDspaces has become the most important educational facilities event of the year.

The EDspaces conference officially begins on Wednesday with a wide variety of education sessions once again delivered in professionally designed classrooms. Come and discover these well thought out classroom designs and experience the content while contemplating the student interaction and reaction in these spaces. There are a total of 54 accredited sessions in these classrooms over the three days covering topics such as: Community Model Schools, Designing for Dynamic Change, and Programming for a Healthy Future: Two School Districts’ Path to Equitable Learning, to name just a few.

We are very excited to present Bill Strickland, as your keynote speaker. Strickland will weave his personal journey from inner-city youth to head of an organization that fosters art, occupational skills, architecture and light, and the equal availability of quality of life for every person. Learn how these opportunities can create nurturing environments for students regardless of background and encourage educators to rethink their approach to physical space and its direct impact on learning.

Most importantly, the opportunity to garner new ideas does not stop once you enter the exhibit hall featuring over 150 outstanding companies. EDspaces provides the industry’s largest and most complete display of new products designed for student success. Wander around this one stop shop to see firsthand all that is new and innovative saving your team time and creating value. There will be a series of “snackable education sessions” in the various specialty spaces for you to explore as well, further adding to the EDspaces Experience.

On Friday afternoon, you have the opportunity to choose from 9 new and renovated schools and universities featured on three separate EDfacility Tours that depart from the Convention Center. This is your chance to look at the ideas in real life usage by visiting multiple projects and hearing from the school officials and architects about what went well and what they might do differently next time.

You can see why EDspaces has become the most important educational facilities event of the year. I would like to thank Adrienne Dayton, EDmarket VP Communications & Education, for leading this process and the EDspaces volunteer leaders and advisors for presenting the industry with an incredible opportunity to learn and explore new ideas. EDmarket is proud of our partnership with EDspaces and we look forward to seeing you in Pittsburgh in November.
