Discover

The Educational Distribution Symposium (EDS) is a three-part education event for the dealer/vendor community on November 1 during EDspaces in Portland. The EDS opens with the presentation: “THRIVE: Turn Uncertainty to Your Greatest Competitive Advantage.” Next is an interactive, small break-out session with your peers, followed by an Industry Panel discussion focusing on “Challenges & Opportunities in the Education Market.”

EDmarket brings its trusted reputation and experience to the EDspaces with primary responsibility for the Education Conference development and management. EDspaces features over 60 accredited education sessions in designed classrooms, 17 mini-sessions on the exhibit four, 11 school and college stops on 4 EDfacility tours scheduled throughout the conference, and an outstanding Keynote Address by Alan Ricks of MASS Design Group.

Inspire

The Patent Showcase highlights product innovation within our industry — and celebrates the manufacturers that are the leaders in transforming educational spaces. Want to learn more about how EDmarket is encouraging innovation in the marketplace? Stop by the EDmarket Booth (#1235) for details.

A new Leadership Appreciation Breakfast at EDspaces brings together the over 50 volunteer leaders of EDmarket including the past Chairs of the Board, Current Board of Directors, Distribution Council, Equipment Manufacturers Council, Architect & Design Council, EdTech Council, Education Institution Council and Retail Store Council. This exclusive event will recognize leadership excellence and foster networking, allow and update to one another on the important work being done within that group and facilitate the brainstorming of the future of our organization. Nominations are currently being accepted for future leaders.

Connect

Bold Women, Bold Conversations is an interactive event for female leaders to network and explore leadership challenges and opportunities. It is critical for women leaders to develop a trusted network of colleagues, recruit others who may be like-minded, and connect with other professionals who may help them accomplish their goals. EDmarket prides itself on bringing together key stakeholders in a variety of settings.

The EDmarketplace Purchasing Consortium is a new, exclusive buying consortium in partnership between the EDmarket and the Independent Suppliers Group (ISG). This program is a win-win collaborative solution for dealers & manufacturers. Dealers increase competitiveness through better cost of goods, industry peer interaction and benchmarking, along with in-depth product sales training. Manufacturers grow sales, increase dealer loyalty, and improve cash flow through receivable management system.

Our members continue to embolden the future of education with their leadership, passion, and experience. These are just a few examples of how the revitalized EDmarket is moving forward.
