Dr. Melanie J. Oppor is the District Administrator for the School District of Manawa (Wisconsin), currently serving the community for her sixth year. She has her doctorate from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis with a focus on equity and excellence in public education. In her 35 years as a professional educator, Dr. Oppor has held roles as a teacher, principal, and director of curriculum, instruction, & assessment along with supporting adult education as an adjunct professor for the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.
