Originally from Lima, Peru, Fabiola Yep is a civic and professional leader enriching communities through mentoring, volunteer work, and equity efforts. At Wheeler Kearns Architects, she led award-winning projects like the Elgin Math and Science Academy and the Uruguayan American School re-envisioning. Fabiola actively participates in mentoring organizations and launched the firm’s mentorship program, “WKA-Lift.” Her leadership has been recognized with the 2023 Design Impact Award from the Driehaus Foundation and the 2024 Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) Award from Ball State University.
